Great Salt Lake story map released
SALT LAKE CITY (Feb. 7, 2024) – In response to a recent request from the Great Salt Lake Strike Team, the Utah Division of Water Resources produced a dynamic new story map as an educational resource to define the processes that dictate the health of the Great Salt Lake.
Wildlife Technician II
The first half of the summer will focus primarily on monitoring these range trend studies in Southeastern Utah. The last half of the summer will focus on monitoring habitat improvement projects as part of the Watershed Restoration Initiative (WRI).
Wildlife Technician I – GBRC Project (Research)
The majority of the work will consist of maintaining (weeding and watering) study plots located on a small research farm in Fountain Green, as well as collecting data from these plots.
Wildlife Technician II – GBRC Project (Equipment Maintenance)
The primary assignment will be welding hardfacing to anchor chains and assisting with equipment upkeep, but the individual in this position may also be asked to assist with GBRC research plot maintenance as needs arise.
