The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks has seasonal positions available (no benefits) located at Gunlock State Park. This appointment will last approximately from March 5 to December 2025.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Assist in the operation of Gunlock State Park; duties involve greeting park visitors and helping them discover park resources and how to enjoy them appropriately; staff entrance stations and collect park fees; check-in and assist incoming campers. Duties also include maintenance of buildings, grounds and trails; along with a variety of groundskeeping duties, assist with the removal of non-native plant species and perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
This job requires driving state vehicles. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to successfully pass a fingerprint/national criminal history background check. Applicants must also be able to pass a background check. Applicants need to have the ability to work outdoors in a recreational environment. Preference may be given to applicants with cash handling, customer service or equipment operation experience, and education in a natural resource-related field.
