The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks has seasonal positions available (no benefits) located at Willard Bay State Park in Willard, Utah. This appointment will last from approximately March 15 to mid-September 2024, with the possibility of an extension. Housing is not provided.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Assist in the operation of Willard Bay State Park; duties involve greeting park visitors and helping them discover park resources and how to enjoy them appropriately; staff entrance stations and collect park fees; check-in and assist incoming campers. Duties also include maintenance of buildings, grounds and trails; along with a variety of groundskeeping duties, assist with the removal of non-native plant species and perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
Applicants must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid Utah driver’s license at the time of employment. Applicants must also be able to pass a background check. Applicants need to have the ability to work outdoors in a recreational environment. Preference may be given to applicants with cash handling, customer service or equipment operation experience, and education in a natural resource-related field.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be willing to work in an outdoor setting, and work weekends and holidays. Applicants selected for an interview will be required to bring a copy of their driving record and a criminal history.
