Housing: Campsite available to park your camper
The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks, has seasonal positions (no benefits) available at Scofield State Park in Scofield, Utah. This employment will last from approximately June 2024 through October 2024, with the possibility of an extension. Housing is not provided, however, a campsite is available for those who would like to bring up their own camper.
Examples of Duties
Assisting in the operation of Scofield State Park including Madsen Bay campground and Mountain View campground. Duties will involve greeting park visitors; collecting park fees; checking all boats and water vessels to ensure rules and regulations are being followed properly to keep Utah’s water safe; educating boaters to clean, drain, and dry; campsite check-ins, cleaning and maintaining campsites. Additional duties include maintenance of buildings, restrooms, and docks; groundskeeping work; and performing other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Skills
Applicants must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid Utah Drivers license at the time of employment. Applicants must pass a background check upon hire. Applicants should have the ability to work independently in a tourism environment. Preference may be given to applicants with cash handling, customer service experience, and education in a natural resource-related field.
Other
Applicants must be willing to work in an outdoor setting. Working weekends and holidays is mandatory.
