The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation, has seasonal positions (no benefits) available at Antelope Island State Park in Syracuse, Utah. This appointment will last from approximately February 1 to October 31, 2018.  Housing is not provided.

Examples of Duties
Assist in the operation of Antelope Island State Park. Duties will include staffing the park entrance station, greeting park visitors and providing them with accurate information, collecting park fees, and assisting campers.  Additional duties include cleaning and maintenance of facilities, assisting with park events, and performing other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Skills
Applicant must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid Utah Drivers license at time of employment. Applicant should have the ability to work independently in an outdoor environment.

Preference may be given to applicants with cash handling, customer service experience, and education in a natural resource related field.

Other
Applicants must be willing to work in an outdoor setting, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must successfully pass a criminal history background check upon hire.
